Brock Vodden Lashes Out As Regime Crumbles - Insults 32,000+ Monthly Readers - WFP Defends "Door knob" Public

hand, nearly all of the WFP supporters can barely spell their own
names, their grammar is atrocious, and they're as knowledgeable as
door knobs."
Once you are finished laughing at Brock Vodden's poor grammar, you
probably will take offense to the fact a North Huron councillor
insulted the public in such a rude and arrogant manner.
This not the first time Brock Vodden has shown such disrespect for
the Public that pay his salary. If you ask a question at a
council meeting, you are normally met with arrogant
disbelief. This is a result of a mixture of denial and
delusions of grandeur. Council believes things are great, and
that the high tax rate isn't an issue, and things are going great
with Morris-Turnberry. Do you trust the Provincial or Federal
government? Where do you think those "politicians" came
from? The majority were created in a petri dish of apathy,
greed, parasitic training, and ineptitude, more commonly referred to
as Municipal Government.
You will notice that Brock Vodden tries to make it sound like WFP is
against North Huron. We want cleaned and safer sidewalks, zero
waste, maintained infrastructure, industrial development, reasonable
tax rate, amicable relationship with Morris-Turnberry, etc.
WFP supporters are the biggest proponents of North Huron, that is
why they have been fighting for change for the last 3 years. Before
Wingham Free Press existed, it was rare if even one person showed up
to a council meeting. Now it is normal to bring extra chairs
in from the hallway to accommodate the concerned and caring Citizens
that take the time to show up to meetings.
WFP Readers Most Politically Informed In Ontario
YouTube: North Huron has a population of approximately
5,000. Despite the small population, approximately 600 people
virtually attend our council meetings by watching them on YouTube,
that represents 12% of the local population. Toronto typically
gets between 1,000 - 9,000 views for their meetings, that is only
0.3% of the population of Toronto.
Agenda Package: Over 100 people download the Agenda Package
for council meetings, via our website. Before WFP, the general
Public didn't have access to this public information, because they
didn't know it existed. The fact over a 100 people regularly
download the agenda package, is evidence that WFP readers have an
excellent understanding of how North Huron is currently being
managed.
Draft Budget from our website. Literally hundreds of people
are looking through the budget. That is a phenomenal amount of
people for a draft budget for a small Municipality.

Only 3,700 out of the 32,000 WFP monthly readers follow us on
FaceBook. FB has been a great platform to distribute budgets,
agenda packages, and to remind people when council meetings are.
Record Attendance At Council Meetings: This is undeniable
proof that the Public is more engaged in local politics than
ever. This causes council great discomfort, as they are afraid
someone is going to ask a question at the end of the meeting.
WFP readers are probably the most politically informed
Citizens in Canada, at least when it comes to local Municipal
politics. Brock Vodden's comment is insulting, and in no
way appropriate for a sitting Representative of the
People. The ideas and input of our 32,000+ monthly readers
should not be dismissed, simply because they downloaded a
budget, or viewed a council meeting via our website.
