Drunk Driver Run Over By Monster Truck In Bluevale

Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrived on scene and upon speaking with the driver of the Camaro they determined his ability to drive a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported from the collision scene to the Exeter OPP Detachment for breath tests. He subsequently provided two samples of his breath to a qualified Intoxilizer Technician and both of his tests were above the legal limit.
Further investigation revealed the Camaro was not insured nor were there licence plates attached to the vehicle.
As a result, 36 year old William YOUNG from Huron East has been charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Impaired Driving, Drive Motor Vehicle Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol, Drive Motor Vehicle – No Insurance & Drive Motor Vehicle – No Plates. He has been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Wingham on June 18, 2015. He also received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
