Strong winds expected today, with additional rainfall as well.
Strong southwest winds gusting 60 to 80 km/h are expected to develop later this morning. These winds will shift to the northwest with the passage of a sharp cold front this afternoon. Northwest wind gusts of 60 to 80 km/h are possible early this evening but should diminish afterwards.
These winds may cause some tree damage and isolated power outages, because many trees are still in partial to full leaf.
Also, additional rainfall amounts of 10 to 20 mm are possible today, especially in areas that receive thunderstorms. Most areas have already received 15 to 25 mm or so.
