This follows the Thanksgiving weekend where five drivers were charged by Bruce Peninsula OPP with the same offence on the Monday alone.
Over the holiday weekend, the Bruce Peninsula OPP laid a total of 36 Highway Traffic Act Offences. Of these 36 charges, the following drivers were charged with stunt driving:
Xiaonan LIU of Toronto on Highway 6 in the Ferndale area

"These speeds are alarming given the well documented and unacceptable risk to public safety. However, I find these results particularly disturbing given the recent collision on Highway 6 in the Miller Lake area where four people lost their lives in a preventable crash where speed was a factor" - Staff Sergeant Paul Richardson, interim detachment commander, Bruce Peninsula OPP.
