Black Jaguar Going Wrong Way On Expressway Triggered Reports To Police - Drunk Driver Arrested

OPP responded and located the vehicle, a black 2018 Jaguar, in a ditch just north of Highway 401. While speaking with the male driver, officers believed he was impaired by alcohol. He was arrested and transported to a local OPP Detachment for testing.
27-year-old Andrew Davis BERGEN of Waterloo has been charged with Dangerous Driving, Driving with Over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100mL of blood and Driving while Ability Impaired by Alcohol contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. A 90-day Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute. He is scheduled to attend Guelph Court on December 12, 2017.
