He was held for a bail hearing and made an appearance on January 2, 2018. Note, there were no injuries as a result of this incident.
Collision at Wellington / Edinburgh
On January 2, 2017 at approximately 9:50am, Guelph police were called to the intersection of Wellington St. and Edinburgh Rd. S. A Honda, being driven by a 32 year old Guelph female was westbound on Wellington St. and a Nissan, driven by a 51 year old Guelph female, was southbound on Edinburgh Rd. S. The two vehicles collided within the intersection.
As a result of the collision, both drivers were transported to the Guelph General Hospital and subsequently released with minor injuries. Both vehicles sustained heavy damaged, estimated to be $26,000.
The driver of the Honda was charged with failing to stop for a red light under the Highway Traffic Act.
