Pimps Arrested After Stabbing Of Trafficking Victim - EISEN & CROOKS

On Tuesday, December 26, 2017, police responded to a report of a male suspect who had stabbed a female in the area of Kennedy Road and Sandalwood Parkway in the City of Brampton. The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the assault. Further investigation determined that a male believed to be responsible for the stabbing, along with another female, had previously exploited the victim in the sex trade industry.
On Friday, December 29, 2017, investigators issued arrests warrants for Audley CROOKS and Crystal EISEN.
On Saturday, December 30, 2017, both parties were arrested.
Audley CROOKS was charged with the following offences:
Human Trafficking
Receive Material Benefit Resulting from Human Trafficking
Procuring
Exercise Control over a Prostitute
Material Benefit from Sexual Services
Utter Threat to Cause Bodily Harm
Assault with a Weapon
Assault
Breach of Recognizance X2
Crystal EISEN was charged with one count of Procuring.
Both CROOKS and EISEN were held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
