On Friday, January 5, 2018 this unknown man was captured on video surveillance taking another customer’s wallet while in the checkout lane of Food Basics on St. Clair Street in Chatham. Video surveillance also shows that when given the chance, the man made no attempt to return the wallet to the owner.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying this man.

Tilbury: CK18001025
Sometime between Monday, January 1, 2018 and Sunday, January 7, 2018 an unknown suspect(s) entered a shed within a backyard of an address on Queen Street N. An electric cement mixer, valued at $400, was stolen.

Wallaceburg: CK18001042
Sometime between Thursday, January 4, 2018 and Monday, January 8, 2018 an unknown suspect(s) attended an address on Blue Water Line. The suspect(s) broke a basement window and gained access into the basement of this residence, as well as entering a shed located on the property. Stolen from the shed was a jerry can of gasoline.
Damage estimated at $2000 was caused to the garage door, a man door and the basement window of this house.

Sometime between Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. and Monday, January 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. an unknown suspect(s) entered a residence on Mulberry Crescent in Chatham. Damage to the sliding glass doors of this house is estimated at $1500. It is unknown at this time what was stolen.
