Driver Injured In Hwy 6 Collision

The lone driver was operating a van northbound on Highway 6 when she lost control of the vehicle which then struck a brick pillar at the entrance to a private laneway as well as a natural gas meter.
The Inter-Township Fire Department and Union Gas assisted at the scene. The vehicle battery was disconnected and the gas line was shut down as a precaution.
The driver of the vehicle, a 56-year old Hepworth woman, was transported to hospital via ambulance with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
