19 Year Old Repeat Offender Accidentally Hands Officer Drugs - Tanner SULLIVAN Arrested

The officer requested the insurance and registration for the motor vehicle, at which time, the driver presented the documents and handed them to the officer. The officer located a small baggie containing small white pills, suspected to be suboxone, folded inside the paperwork.
The driver was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance, and police searched the vehicle, incident to arrest. As a result of police investigation, Tanner SULLIVAN, age 19, of North Bay, Ontario, was charged with the following:
Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Other Drugs contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA);
Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Cocaine contrary to section 4(1) of the CDSA; and
Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code (CC).
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear to attend the Ontario Court of Justice on May 8, 2018, in North Bay, Ontario.
