Corey MANDAMIN - Drunk Driving

On Saturday, May 5, 2018, at approximately 6:43 p.m. police were called to a traffic complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 17.
Police attended the area and located a vehicle matching the description on Highway 673 just off Highway 17 stopped in the southbound lane. After speaking with the lone male occupant it was determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol.
As a result of this investigation, 31 year old Corey MANDAMIN of Shoal Lake First Nation has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Care or Control While Impaired contrary to section 253(1)(a) and
Care or Control Over 80 mg of Alcohol in Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b)
The accused is to appear in Kenora Criminal Court on May 31, 2018 to answer to the charges.
