Another Drunk Driver Arrested In Grand Bend - Sherwin BROWN

Just after 11:35 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018 a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer received a call about a suspected impaired driver that was last seen driving a black pickup truck. Shortly thereafter a Huron OPP officer spotted the suspect vehicle turning off of Grand Bend Line into the Grand Bend Motorplex. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was observed to be displaying signs of impairment.
He was placed under arrest for impaired driving and was transported to the Exeter OPP Detachment for breath tests. He subsequently provided two samples of his breath to a qualified Intoxilizer Technician and both of his samples registered over the legal limit.
Sherwin BROWN, 35 years of age, from Oneida has been charged with Impaired Driving, Drive Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol and Drive While Under Suspension. He has since been released from custody with a court date scheduled for June 28, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Exeter. In addition, his driver's licence has been suspended for an automatic 90 days.
