22 Year Old From Clinton Arrested For Drunk Driving Following Collision - Name Released

Shortly before 9:00 p.m. Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Huron County Paramedic Services and Lucknow Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a tree on Zion Road.
Upon arrival officers observed a heavily damaged 4-door-sedan in the north ditch. The driver and his 27-year-old passenger were both transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Upon speaking to the driver the investigating officer noted the driver had consumed some alcohol and was exhibiting signs of impairment. The driver was placed under arrest for Impaired Driving and was charged.
Kyle EAST, 22 years of age from Clinton has been charged with Impaired Driving, Drive Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol and Novice Driver - Blood Alcohol Concentration Above Zero. He has been released from custody with a court date scheduled for August 20, 2018. His motor vehicle was impounded for seven days and he received an automatic 90-day driver's licence suspension.
