OPP Officers Remove Drinking Drivers From Roadways Over The Weekend - Names Released

On August 12, 2018 at 4:29 am the OPP Communications Center received a 911 call of a possible impaired driver in the area of Fourth Street in the Town of Midland. Officers on patrol located the suspect vehicle and upon speaking with the male driver they entered into a drinking and driving investigation. As a result Jarrett BROWN 20 years of Midland has been charged with the following offence-
CC 253(1) (b) Driving with More than 80 mgs. Of Alcohol in Blood contrary to section 253 (1) (b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
His vehicle has been impounded for 7 days and his driver's licence has been suspended for 90 days under the Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS) He was released from police custody on a recognizance to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland at a future date.
On August 11, 2018 at 11:41 pm officers were dispatched to a report of a possible impaired driver with a damaged vehicle parked on Highway 93 in Tiny Township. Attending officers spoke with a female driver and entered into a drinking and driving investigation. As a result of this investigation Summer ROSS 25 years of Sudbury has been charged with the following offences-
Care or Control While Impaired (Alcohol and Drug) contrary to section 253(1) (a) of the Criminal Code of Canada
Fail or Refuse to Provide Sample contrary to section 254(5) of the Criminal Code of Canada
Driving while under suspension contrary to section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
Having liquor in open container in other than licenced premises, residence or private place contrary to section 31(2) of the Liquor Licence Act of Ontario
Her vehicle has been impounded for 7 days and her driver's licence has been suspended for 90 days under the Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS) she was released from police custody on a recognizance to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on August 30, 2018.
On August 10, 2018 at 9:19 pm an officer from detachment was dispatched to Champlain Road in Tiny Township after the OPP Communications Center received a report of a vehicle in the ditch. The attending officer spoke with the female driver and entered into a drinking and driving investigation resulting in Linda ST LOUIS 40 years of Toronto being charged with the following offences-
Driving While Ability Impaired- motor vehicle (Alcohol) contrary to section 253 (1) (a) of the Criminal Code of Canada and further
Driving with More than 80 mgs. Of Alcohol in Blood contrary to section 253(1) (b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

On August 10, 2018 at 4:28 am an officer on patrol in the Town of Midland observed a vehicle travelling south bound on King Street at a high rate of speed committing numerous traffic infractions. The officer later located a vehicle matching the description in the ditch on Old Fort Road Tay Township and the male driver. The officer entered into a dangerous driving investigation and charged Diego Armando ARREOLA 18 years of Midland with Dangerous Driving contrary to section 249(1) (a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
He was released from police custody on a recognizance to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on September 13, 2018.
