Repeat Offender Caught With Stolen Refrigerated Trailer In Listowel - Keith GOOD

Yesterday afternoon at approximately 1:00 p.m. Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received information about a stolen 50' refrigerated trailer worth about $50,000 that was on the move heading into Perth County. A Kingsville based business reported the empty reefer trailer had been taken earlier that morning from a Tilbury truck stop.
With the assistance of GPS police were able to track the mobile tractor trailer unit to Main Street in Listowel. At approximately 1:48 p.m. a traffic stop was conducted which resulted in police arresting a male driver and a female passenger.
Keith GOOD, 34 years of age from Morris-Turnberry has been charged with the following offences:
Theft Over $5,000
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
Drive While Under Suspension
Use Plate Not Authorized for Vehicle
Drive Commercial Vehicle - No Valid CVOR certificate
Samantha NIGH, 29 years of age from Goderich has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000.
Both have since been released from custody with court appearances scheduled for March 25, 2019 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Stratford.
