Upon speaking with the male driver the investigating officer noted the driver had been drinking and was directed out of his vehicle. Upon doing so the officer noted further signs of impairment.
As a result the driver was placed under arrest and taken into custody for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. He was later transported to the Exeter OPP Detachment where he provided two samples of his breath to a qualified Intoxilizer Technician; both of his samples registered over the legal limit.
