Drug Bust On HWY 21 - GIBSON & WESLEY

On March 1, 2019, OPP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 21 in the Municipality of Saugeen Shores. The two occupants, 34-year old Theresa GIBSON and 38-year old David WESLEY, were arrested and charged with drug related offences. A quantity of drugs with an estimated street value of $3590, various drug paraphernalia and an undisclosed amount of cash were seized, as well as the vehicle, a 2011 Nissan Sentra.
Both accused were held for bail hearings on March 2, 2019. They are to return to court in Walkerton on March 13, 2019 to speak to the following charges under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act (CDSA):
1. Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine
2. Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs (Hydromorphone)
3. Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs (Oxycodone)
4. Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs (Dilaudid)
5. Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs (Methamphetamine)
