$170,000 In Stolen Property Recovered - SNAKE Arrested

As a result of a property crimes investigation led by Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), members from the Lambton County Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU), Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU), West Region Canine, West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Moravian First Nation Police executed a search warrant on April 24, 2019 at two residences located in Moravian First Nation.
As a result of the search warrant police recovered a wide variety of stolen property that investigators have linked to at least twenty break, enter and theft occurrences throughout Lambton, Elgin, Kent and Middlesex counties.
The estimated value of the recovered stolen property is $170,000.

Utility trailers (2)
Electronics - computers, cameras & gaming consoles
Collectables (hockey cards & figurines)
Anthony SNAKE, 47 years of age, from Moraviantown First Nation has been charged with the following offences:
Break, Enter - Commit an Indictable Offence
Theft Under $5,000 of a Motor Vehicle
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime - Over $5,000 (2 counts)
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime - Under $5,000 (18 counts)
He remains in custody on these charges with a court appearance scheduled June 6, 2019 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Sarnia.
