$187,000 In Cheese Stolen

It was determined that on Friday, August 9, 2019, at approximately 7:45 a.m., an unknown male attended a business and provided paperwork for a shipment of cheese bound for New Brunswick. The trailer was subsequently loaded at which time the male then departed in a blue coloured transport truck.
Several inquiries were made after the shipment of cheese failed to arrive at it destination. It was then discovered that fraudulent paperwork had been provided and the cheese loaded into the transport truck was stolen.
Members of the Oxford County OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate and are seeking the public's assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Oxford County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
