"The main danger of drinking and driving is that alcohol impairs certain functions and faculties that are necessary to safely operate a vehicle. This includes the driver's ability to concentrate and make sound judgments. Decreased coordination and reaction time can increase the chances of getting into or causing a collision", Acting Staff Sergeant Jason McTaggart, Operations Manager, Perth County OPP.
