Suspended Driver Facing Drunk Driving Charge

(GREENOCK TWP, ON) - On September 8, 2019 at 6:25 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single vehicle collision along Bruce County Road 1 in Greenock Township. Officers attended and found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. Twenty-seven-year old Zachary GRANDY of Arran-Elderslie Township was charged with impaired operation, driving while suspended and drive with expired validation. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on October 2, 2019 to answer to the charges. There were no injuries reported at the scene.
