57 Year Old From Palmerston Facing Drunk Driving Charge

Officers located the vehicle travelling northbound on Arthur Street in Harriston and attempted to stop the vehicle however it continued on until it was forced to stop at a red light. Police spoke to the driver and determined that they had consumed alcohol. A Roadside Screening Test was conducted which resulted in a fail. The driver was arrested and brought to a local OPP operations centre for further testing.
Trevor QUIGLEY, 57-years-old of Palmerston has been charged with Impaired Operation and Impaired Operation - 80 Plus contrary to the Criminal Code. A 90-day Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph on January 31, 2020.
