Unlicensed Driver Arrested For Refusing To Blow

While speaking with the driver, officers formed the opinion that the driver was under the influence by alcohol. A Roadside Screening test was conducted which resulted in a fail. Further investigation identified that the driver had no licence, insurance or a valid permit for the vehicle. The driver was arrested and brought to a local OPP operations centre for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, Shannon M. FLEURY, 42-years-old of Mount Forest has been charged with Refuse to Comply with Breath Demand, Drive without Insurance, Drive without a Licence, and Drive without a Valid Permit. A 90-day Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute. The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario court of justice - Guelph on March 3, 2020.
