Spike Belt Used To Stop Randy LEBLEU

On Saturday, June 13, 2020 at approximately 11:40 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a sedan stopped on the shoulder of Bluewater Veteran's Highway (Highway 21) at Sararas Road. Upon pulling in behind the stopped vehicle the driver immediately accelerated away from the police vehicle and headed northbound travelling in an erratic manner. The investigating officer attempted to stop the vehicle however the driver failed to stop for the emergency lights and continued speeding away.
Further up the roadway a tire deflation device was successfully utilized and the vehicle safely came to a stop near Mill Road.
The driver was arrested and taken into custody. While speaking with the driver the investigating officer noted the driver had been consuming alcohol and was displaying signs of impairment. The driver was transported to the Huron OPP Detachment and provided two samples of his breath to the Intoxilizer Technician. Both samples were analyzed to be over the legal limit.

Breach of Recognizance
He has been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for August 24, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
