Moments later officers arrived on scene and set up containment around the residence in question. Initial checks were made and no one with injuries was located on scene.
A search warrant was later executed at the residence by members of the Huron-Perth Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) & Huron OPP Crime Unit. As a result of the search warrant, police located a prohibited weapon (nunchaku) and small quantities of suspected cocaine and methamphetamine.
As a result of the investigation two Hensall residents are facing charges.
Joanna MAPLE, 45 years of age from Hensall has been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Cocaine and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. She has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for September 14, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
Randall KOSTUIK, 51 years of age from Hensall has been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Cocaine, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon contrary to a Prohibition Order (two counts).
He remains in custody with a court appearance scheduled for June 18, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
