20 Year Old Driver Charged With Impaired Driving - WOODS

Police attended and while speaking with one of the drivers, formed the opinion that they were impaired by drugs. The driver was arrested and transported to a local OPP Detachment for further tests.
The occupants were assessed at the scene and no serious injuries were reported.
James Clayton WOODS, 20-years-old of Waterloo has been charged with Driving while Impaired by Drug contrary to the Criminal Code and Possession of a Controlled Substance-Fentanyl contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.
A 90-day Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph on December 4, 2020.
