Ethan COPENACE Impaired Driving

On June 29, 2024, just after 8:30 p.m., members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint of a suspected impaired driver at a business on Main Street South in the City of Kenora.
Through investigation, it was determined that the driver of the motor vehicle had been impaired by drug. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest and transported back to the Kenora OPP Detachment for further testing.
As a result, Ethan COPENACE, 34-years-old, of Keewatin, has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with Operation While Impaired Alcohol and Drugs.
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora on July 25, 2024.
