Drug Bust Names Released

On September 4, 2024, a search warrant was executed in Thunder Bay by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP)-led Provincial Joint Forces Guns and Gangs Enforcement Team (PGNG), comprised of members of 20 police services, including Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) and Nishnawbe Aski Police Service (NAPS). The TBPS Emergency Tactical Unit assisted in coordinating the search warrant.
Police seized the following:
Approximately 18 grams of suspected fentanyl
Approximately 114 grams of suspected cocaine
More than $100,000 Canadian currency
Approximately $600 United States currency
As a result of the investigation, Kenloyd ALEXIS-ROBINSON, 26 years old, of Chateauguay, Quebec, has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code (CC) and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) with the following five offences:
Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine two counts
Trafficking cocaine
Possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl
Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000
Kendra-Lynn TERGIE, 25 years old, of Thunder Bay has been charged with the following three offences contrary to the CCand CDSA:
Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
Possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl
Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000
The accused were remanded into custody and later released. They are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on October 15, 2024.
