Alexandria AESSIE Impaired Driving

At 8:00 a.m., on September 21, 2024, Orillia OPP responded to a call for a motor vehicle hitting a tree in a parking lot on West St. S and King St. Police were advised the lone vehicle driver was possibly impaired.
Upon arriving on scene police entered into an impaired investigation and observed several signs of impairment.
As a result of this investigation, Alexandria AESSIE, 28-year-old of Oro-Medonte has been charged with:
CC 320.14(1)(a) Operation while impaired- alcohol and drug
CDSA 4(1) Adult Poss of a Schedule I Substance Cocaine
HTA 53(1.1) Adult Driving while under suspension while suspended under HTA Sec 41/42
The accused was held for a bail hearing and her drivers licence was suspended for 90 days, and vehicle was impounded for a period of 7 days.
