Michael CARNOVALE Theft

At approximately 9:35 a.m. on the 29th of September 2024, officers responded to a call for service about a suspicious male who appeared to be taking property from a neighbours home while they were away. Once on scene, officers located a male exiting a shed at the back of a private residence on Baker Street in the Town of Wasaga Beach. The contents of the shed had been emptied and thrown over an adjacent fence. Other stolen goods that had been stashed on a nearby street were also located.
As a result of the investigation, Michael CARNOVALE, a 43-year-old male from Wasaga Beach, has been arrested and charged with the following offences:
Obstructing a peace officer
Theft under $5000
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
The accused was released on an undertaking to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood at a future date.
