Benjamin Joshua TALBOT Was Arrested Again

Officers responded at approximately 9:18 p.m. November 6, 2024 to the complaint involving a motorcycle in the Grandview Road area of Port McNicoll. A short time later, a loud motorcycle matching the description was observed by an officer from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while it was southbound on William Street, Midland. The motorcycle appeared to be visually travelling above the posted speed limit and the officer took a position follow the motorcycle at a safe distance while observing a number of driving infractions as it travelling east on Highway 12 into Tay Township.
The officer was able to safely stop the motorcycle near Triple Bay Road, Tay Township and after speaking with the lone occupant and conducting a check on the Canadian Police Information Centre (C.P.I.C) the driver was placed under arrest and after a further investigation was completed, Benjamin Joshua TALBOT 34 years of Tay Township has been charged with the following offences.
Failure to comply with release order other than to attend court
Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code
And further with the following Provincial Offences Violation
Red light fail to stop
Unnecessary noise
Drive motor vehicle improper licence
Improper muffler motor vehicle
Drive motor vehicle, no plates
Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle
Driving while under suspension
Drive wrong way divided highway
Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
The accused is being held for a bail hearing and remains in custody to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date. The involved motorcycle was towed and is the subject of a 45 day vehicle impound in accordance to the Ministry of Transportation (ADLS) guidelines.
