Patrick MARTIN Facing Numerous Charges

On November 9, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m., members of the Dryden Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision where one of the drivers failed to remain on scene. Officers later located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop; the driver fled from police.
Members of the OPPs Red Lake Detachment located the suspect motor vehicle and successfully deployed a tire deflation device on Highway 105. Officers were able to place the driver under arrest at the scene and the passenger was located and arrested a short time later.
As a result, Patrick MARTIN, 37-years-old, of Saint John, New Brunswick, has been arrested and charged with the following offences:
· Flight from Peace Officer
· Dangerous operation
· Obstruct Peace Officer
· Operation while impaired alcohol and drugs
· Possession property obtained by crime over $5,000 In Canada
· Failure or refusal to comply with demand
· Resist peace officer
· Possession of prohibited device or ammunition for dangerous purpose
· And multiple HTA and Provincial Offence charges
Bradley BONNEL, 29-years-old, of St. John, New Brunswick has been arrested and charged with the following offences:
· Possession of prohibited device or ammunition for dangerous purpose
· Possession property obtained by crime over $5,000 In Canada
· Obstruct Peace Officer
Both accused were held in custody and appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay.
