Brent WASNIDGE Was Arrested Again

On November 1, 2024, Lambton OPP entered into a Break and Enter investigation to a property on Michigan Line, Plympton-Wyoming. It was reported that various items were stolen, including a Yanmar compact tractor, a Ferris zero-turn mower, a 1965 Chevrolet half ton pickup truck and a Lycoming aircraft engine.
Several of the items had previously been recovered at nearby locations by Lambton OPP uniform members.
On November 14, 2024, members of the Lambton OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), in collaboration with Elgin-Middlesex CSCU, and with the assistance of West Region OPP Tactical Rescue Unit (TRU), the West Region OPP Canine Unit, the West Region OPP Emergency Response Unit (ERT) along with Lambton and Middlesex OPP uniform members executed a search warrant at an address on Creamery Road, North-Middlesex.
The search warrant revealed the outstanding stolen item. In addition, other stolen property and offence-related items were seized by police.
As a result, Brent WASNIDGE, 35-year-old of Forest, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:
· Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 (two counts)
· Failure to comply with release order other than to attend court (two counts)
· Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
The accused was held pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia and has since been released.
