The investigating officer confirmed that the driver of the vehicle was under a drivers licence suspension, and subsequently placed under arrest. Further investigation resulted in the discovery of a quantity of suspected illicit drugs in the vehicle; two passengers were then also placed under arrest.
As a result of the traffic stop, three individuals now face charges.
Franklin THERBY, 38-years-old, of Saugeen Shores, was charged with:
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, CDSA 5(2)
Possession of a Schedule I substance cocaine, CDSA 4(1)
Fail to comply with probation, CC 733.1(1)
Driving while under suspension, HTA 53(1)
Possess unmarked cigarettes, TTA 29(2)
Sheena GALLAGHER, 42-years-old, of Saugeen Shores, was charged with:
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, CDSA 5(2)
Possession of a Schedule I substance cocaine, CDSA 4(1)
Neville ALEXANDER, 57-years-old, of Saugeen Shores, was charged with:
