Marc-Andre POULIT Was Arrested

On February 1, 2025, at approximately 1:55 p.m., the Nipissing West (Sudbury) Detachment of the OPP conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle travelling more than 50 kilometres and hour (km/h) in a posted 70 km/h zone on Maley Drive, Sudbury.
The driver was arrested for impaired driving and was transported to the OPP detachment for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, Marc-Andre POULIT, 30 years-of-age, from Sudbury, was charged with, operation while impaired drug, and drive motor vehicle perform stunt excessive speed.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on February 19, 2025, in Sudbury.
The driver was issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for fourteen days.
