Catlin DAER Charged With Impaired Driving

Just before 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 13, 2025, Huron County OPP officers were contacted by a concerned citizen who observed a vehicle with a suspected impaired driver behind the wheel. Police attended the scene, spoke to the driver and determined that the drivers ability to operate the motor vehicle was impaired.
The driver was arrested for impaired operation and transported to the Huron County OPP detachment where they completed a series of tests before an OPP Drug Recognition Expert (DRE).
Catlin DAER, 34 years of age from Central Huron has been charged with:
Operation while Impaired alcohol and drugs.
The involved vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days.
The accused was later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice Goderich on March 31, 2025.
