On March 1, 2025, at approximately 10:49 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a traffic complaint on County Road 42 near Renaud Line in the Municipality of Lakeshore.
Cong Thanh NGUYEN, 44-years-old of Windsor, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Operation while impaired alcohol and drugs
A 90-day Administrative Drivers License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice Windsor on March 13, 2025, to speak to the charges.
