K9 Tracks Down 28 Year Old Details Released

Upon being confronted, the suspect fled on foot, last seen running northbound across Plank Road and in between two buildings. Officers immediately set up a containment perimeter and requested the K-9 Unit for assistance.
PC Urban and K-9 Vader arrived and began tracking the suspect. Less than 10 minutes later, Vader successfully located the suspect hiding in tall brush behind a building on Plank Road. The suspect was taken into custody for break-and-enter with intent to commit theft under $5000.
The suspect was identified as Brock Holman (28) of Cotterbury Street in Sarnia. During a search incident to arrest, officers discovered a concealed knife under Holmans jacket and a number of break-in instruments. He was subsequently charged with the following offences:
Break and enter
Possession of break-and-enter instruments
Possession of stolen property under $5000
Carrying a concealed weapon
Holman was transported to the Sarnia Police Station where he appeared before a Justice of the Peace for a bail hearing where he was remanded into custody with the next court date being March 4, 2025.
