(PUSLINCH TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrest and charge a Hamilton resident with one criminal and two provincial charges stemming from a traffic stop.



On March 1, 2025, at approximately 4:00 a.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were conducting a proactive traffic enforcement initiative and initiated a traffic stop on Highway 6 within Puslinch Township.



As a result of the investigation, Amanda FRAGOSO, a 34-year-old of Hamilton is charged under the Criminal Code and the Highway Traffic Act with:

Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
Speeding 50+ km/h over posted limit
Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt – excessive speed – community zone
Anyone charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform stunt receives a 14-day impoundment and a 30-day driver’s licence suspension as per statute.



The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on March 11, 2025.
