(LEAMINGTON, ON) – One person has been charged following a traffic stop in Leamington.

On March 29, 2025, at approximately 3:15 a.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Erie Street North in the Municipality of Leamington.

Henry RIVERA CALLEJAS, 29-years-old of Leamington, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offence:

Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Windsor on April 11, 2025, to answer to the charges.
