19 Year Old Drunk Driver Arrested

On Sunday, March 30, 2025, just after 2:30 a.m., Quinte West OPP officers responded a traffic complaint. A vehicle was seen driving over residents lawns, through a park and playground area. The vehicle then left the area, traveling eastbound toward the downtown. Police located the vehicle, but the driver refused to stop and proceeded to drive on sidewalks in an effort to flee. Additional officers arrived on the scene and police were able to stop the vehicle. The driver was arrested and transported to the detachment for testing.
Connor ARNOLD, a 19-year-old from Quinte West, has been charged with:
· Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
· Operation while impaired alcohol
· Flight from peace officer
· Dangerous operation
· Mischief Over $5,000 two counts
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on April 24, 2025. The vehicle was impounded for 14 days, and their licence was suspended for 90 days.
