Zachary VERONEZ Drunk Driving

On Saturday, March 29, 2025, at approximately 2:15 a.m., members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 62. The investigation resulted in the driver being arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.
As a result, Zachary VERONEZ, age 20 from Belleville, was arrested and charged with:
Operation while impaired alcohol
Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Mischief
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on April 16, 2025. They also had their drivers licence suspended for a period of 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.
