Bruce ASHICK Impaired Operation

On April 6, 2025, at approximately 1:50 a.m., an OPP officer on patrol discovered a vehicle with three occupants in the ditch on Rankin Rink Road in North Algona Wilberforce (NAW) Township. No injuries were reported. As part of the investigation a Roadside Screening Device was utilized, and the driver was transported to the detachment for further testing.
As a result of this incident 58-year-old Bruce ASHICK of Laurentian Valley Township has been charged with the following CC offences:
Operation while impaired alcohol
Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration 80mg plus
The accused had their drivers licence suspended for 90 days and their vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days. The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on May 5, 2025.
