Brenton MCMURPHY Drunk Driving

On April 3, 2025, just after 4:45 p.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a collision at the intersection of Robson Road and Edys Mills Line, Dawn-Euphemia.
As a result of the investigation, Brenton MCMURPHY, a 40-year-old of Dawn-Euphemia Township, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with:
Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
A 90-day Administrative Drivers License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice Sarnia on April 29, 2025.
Additionally, the second driver, a 65-year-old of Dresden, was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
Fail to yield to traffic on through highway
No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
