Maik WITTE Was Arrested

On April 7, 2025, at approximately 8:00 p.m., a member of the Wellington County OPP conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Rockwood. It was determined the driver had previously consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to the Wellington OPP operations centre in Rockwood.
As a result of the investigation, Maik WITTE, a 46-year-old from Guelph-Eramosa Township is charged with:
Failure or refusal to comply with demand
A 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and a Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice Guelph on April 25, 2025.
