Robert EGAN Was Arrested

On Sunday April 27, 2025, shortly after midnight, Peterborough County OPP Officers received a call reporting a vehicle having difficulty maintaining its lane. Officers located the vehicle and after observing the driving, conducted a traffic stop. Officers approached the vehicle and upon speaking with the driver, detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage coming from their breath. A demand for an Approved Screening Device (ASD) test was read. The driver complied with the demand and provided a sample of their breath resulting in a reading of FAIL at which point the driver was arrested.
Robert EGAN (age 34) of Hastings, ON., was arrested and charged with;
· Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused had their drivers licence suspended for 90-days, and their vehicle impounded for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on May 27, 2025
