22 Year Old Repeat Offender From Listowel Arrested Details Released

On April 29, 2025, police responded to a call for a suspicious vehicle in the town of Listowel. Upon police arrival, the vehicle, which was identified as stolen, reversed into a police vehicle, before attempting to flee.
22-year-old Xavier RAITHBY of Listowel was charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:
Dangerous Operation
Flight from Police
Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
Failure to Comply with Probation Order (Two Counts)
RAITHBY was further charged with the following Highway Traffic Act offences:
Driving While Under Suspension (Two counts)
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing on April 30th, 2025, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford.
