Norman ACOMATA Was Arrested

On May 3, 2025, shortly after 1:00 a.m., Nottawasaga OPP responded to a traffic complaint in the area of Young Street, in the Town of New Tecumseth. The vehicle was described as being operated in a concerning manner. Officers located the vehicle and met with the driver. During the interaction, grounds were formed that the drivers ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol, leading to the drivers arrest.
As a result of the investigation, Norman ACOMATA 32-years-old of New Tecumseth was charged with:
Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Operation while impaired alcohol
Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code Two Counts
Obstruct Peace Officer
The accused is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on May 29, 2025, to answer to the charge.
