John MAGNAN Arrested Following Collision

On May 6, 2025, just after 6:30pm, Peterborough County OPP Officers were dispatched to a report of a collision that took place on Nassau Road in Douro-Dummer Township. Upon arrival, officers observed a single vehicle that had rolled over coming to rest on its side. Officers spoke with the driver after having minor injuries assessed by EMS. After a brief conversation, a demand was read to the driver to submit to an Approved Screening Device (ASD) test. The driver complied with the demand and provided a sample of their breath resulting in a reading of FAIL at which point the driver was arrested.
John MAGNAN (age 63) of Hamilton Dundas, ON., was arrested and charged with;
· Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused had their drivers licence suspended for 90-days, and their vehicle impounded for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on June 10, 2025
