(WARWICK TOWNSHIP, ON) – Traffic stop led to an individual being arrested and charged with impaired driving.



On May 17, 2025, just after 12:00 a.m., the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Forest Road, north of Egremont Road in Warwick Township.

As a result of the investigation, Gurneet KAUR, 27-year-old of Plympton-Wyoming, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:

Operation while impaired- alcohol and drugs
Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
A 90-day -Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on June 17, 2025, in the City of Sarnia.
